How the planner works

Questions

What the result can tell you.

Does this calculate my taxes?
No. Enter take-home pay from a paystub, a payroll estimate or the IRS Tax Withholding Estimator. A generic tax rate can’t fit every state, household or mix of W-2 and 1099 income.
How is the money split?
By planning weights, not a recommendation or a market forecast. The focus you choose changes the weights. Cash and debt are capped so each goal is reached within a year, and money a goal doesn’t need stays unassigned.
What should I do in the first 90 days?
In the first month, confirm your paystub, withholding, benefits and automatic transfers before raising recurring spending. In the second, review retirement elections, insurance, beneficiaries and accounts from training. In the third, compare the plan with what you actually spent, and review tax, debt and investment decisions with the right professional.
Does alooola receive the numbers I enter?
No. The calculation runs in your browser. We count that the planner was started and completed, but never the amounts you enter or the result.

Bring the result and your first paystub. We'll sort out which decisions need modeling, a professional's review or more information before you act.
